The popular restaurant Off Vine was badly damaged by a fire late Sunday afternoon.

The California cuisine eatery, on Leland Way near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street, was in a 100-year-old house that was converted to a restaurant in 1989.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, which was reported at 5:20 p.m. and extinguished in about half an hour, fire officials said. The cause remains under investigation.
