Fascinating story, outstanding research and a wonderful tale of one of the "forgotten" residents of H4E. Thanks again, Allan.

Excellent coverage, Allan...thank you for giving this unfortunate young woman her moment in the sun again.

Please forgive me, but I must ask: where are Captain Frank D. Tompkins and James C. Crowell interred? I see that you mentioned Crowell was returned to Green- wood. Pardon my stupids, but is this a city or a cemetery? THE Green-wood in Brooklyn, perhaps? I know I ask a lot of questions for someone from Ontario, but it does give us something to do. :p

Much appreciation again for a well told tale!

Thanks Melissa. Please ask. Tompkins obit did not say where he was buried and I asked at H4E and they have no record of him. He is not anywhere in the area near Marguerite and her mother either unless he is unmarked. Greenwood is a city and a cemetery in Mississippi. I assume he is at that cemetery but there is nothing on findagrave about him or Tompkins. If anyone knows where they are buried, please let me know. Thanks Melissa!

Outstanding story, Allan. Wish there were better pictures so we can see all this beauty of Favar. Thanks so much for sharing such great informations.

This is just a wonderful -- albeit, tragic -- tale.

Kudos, Allan!

Thanks Allan, for shedding light on yet another forgotten entertainment personality. Her Variety obituary was just two paragraphs, but your story here certainly makes up for that shortcoming...

Thanks Steve, I know that most are interested in the Valentino's, DeMille's and Power's at Hollywood Forever, but these obscure people are so very interesting to me.
